We don't like rude people. You can be the gentleman that you are (or, in this case, "think you are a gentleman") if you are rude, if you have a corny language, from my point of view, this is a complete turn-off. I clearly hate loneliness and will do everything to be constantly surrounded by cheerful, pleasant people!
